Ken Jarosik

Hi! I'm Ken. Thanks for checking out my website.

I'm a Chicago native who has called Ohio home for two decades.

I'm currently the Public Information Officer with the City of Miamisburg, Ohio.

On the side, I freelance as a videographer, photographer and camera operator. I spent almost 20 years in the television industry as a videographer, editor, producer and even on-air talent. I have always been a news junkie and I love working for local television. I'm a freelance camera operator, former Adjunct Video Instructor at The Modern School of Design in Kettering, OH and former Communications Manager for Harrison Township in Montgomery County, Ohio.

My love for videography and photography spawned from my early days, sitting home watching tv news where I dreamed of traveling the country covering sporting events. I'm also a huge sports memorabilia collector (cards, autographs, vintage photos, etc.) who was fascinated as a kid growing up in the late 1970s and early 1980s at the color, artwork and photography on baseball and football cards.

I’ve worked for TV stations in Marquette, MI, Rockford, IL, Charleston, WV, Cincinnati, OH, Kansas City, MO and Dayton, OH. I also worked as a freelance sports stringer with the Chicago Tribune.

I'm a proud alumnus of Columbia College Chicago in Chicago, IL.
